This art print on metal depicts the muzzle of the famous Colt 45 M1911 on a steel-inspired background.

The print uses a trompe l'oeil effect created through drop shadows and beveling to give the impression that the design is raised off the background, while the actual artwork is printed flat.

The M1911 is a true American classic, my favorite pistol, and a big source of inspiration for my artwork.
