These screws do not fit Discovery Rifle, the head diameter is too small for the holes in the Discovery tube, but they do fit Discovery valves for use with 22XX Tubes. They are lower profile to sit slightly below flush to fit better with factory/custom trigger groups, stocks and barrel bands will slide right over them. They're stronger than the factory screws and can safely handle up to 3300 PSI if installed correctly.
They were designed by Magnum Airpower LLC and custom manufactured from heat-treated 410 stainless steel to meet metric class 12.9 with a specified hardness of HRc 39-43. The approximate tensile strength is 185,000 PSI. The screw head fits the hole in the tube perfectly for improved strength, stability and port alignment. The head is .270" diameter and .065" thick.
