We call this our Magic Tactical Trigger Spring because it produces a very light trigger pull, yet it's thicker wire diameter than the factory trigger spring. It's counter-intuitive how that could be possible, but the "magic" is that it has more coils and softer stainless steel wire making it very easy to compress. It's "tactical" because it's slightly stronger than our light trigger spring to more reliably return the sear to the top so it engages the hammer ultra-reliably, yet is almost as easy to pull as our light trigger spring. Our light trigger spring is recommended for precision target shooting, this tactical trigger spring is better suited for hunting and tactical shooting where too light/thin of a spring can cause reliability issues.

This trigger spring is made of stainless steel. On an un-installed trigger group it has about 10 ounces of pull, if used with one of our custom pistol triggers it only has about 6 ounces of pull. That's how much pull it generates on it's own, not including the extra pull caused by the amount of hammer-spring tension you are using once the trigger group is installed. The total trigger pull your specific airgun will have can vary from 6 ounces with light hammer-spring tension and one of our custom triggers to a few pounds with heavy hammer-spring tension and a factory trigger. This is the second-lightest trigger spring available, second to our light trigger spring. It requires a smooth, easy-functioning trigger group, if there's any binding of the trigger or sear it may not reliably return the sear to engage the hammer.

 It should be positioned as shown in the last photo with the end of the spring-wire lightly touching the side of the sear. If installed that way it stays in place on the sear, doesn't touch the trigger frame or cover and works very smooth.
