Used to put together AR kits and did gunsmithing in college. Then life and family happened.

Got back into guns when my son started competing in USPSA. Bought us Canik

Mete’s in 2023 which he kinda started competing with. I bought one as well but we both switched up to the Rival Polymer a couple of weeks later.

I began reading the Canik subreddit and noticed some people looking for smaller backstraps and first thought of designing them. I had another product that was mag related and came up with the name Mag-Mo for it. That product was overshadowed by the grips.

As I was making smaller backstraps, my son was getting heavily into competing and I was reading into competition posts. Many were asking how to better control/tame recoil so I got to thinking of ways.

I chatted with 3 redditors and my son and learned what results they wanted. They helped me eventually design a functional ledge for the palm of the support hand to fully contact the grip. Thus, the EDGE was born in early 2023. It’s been well received by the range and competition shooting community. I then started catering to the large hand crowd and today pretty much cover sizes from very small to very large hands.

It gives me great satisfaction to read emails and posts about how my grips have made people enjoy their guns more. I’ve saved many guns from being sold because they didn’t fit the owners hands. Also, how the EDGE bumped their skill level a few notches overnight. I get goosebumps reading those emails and post.

My goal is to make the enthusiasts in this sport to enjoy their guns.
